Intention (Seed, Purpose, Meaning, Significance, Why) + Attention (Nurture, Effort, Action, Focus) = Transformation
What is an intention? For each of us we kind of know, but have you ever stopped and actually defined what this means in your own words?
Don’t bother looking it up using a dictionary, they have no clue and make it more confusing. Example 1, Example 2
The word “intention” has its roots in the Latin term “intentio”, which means “a stretching out,” “purpose,” or “aim.”
Breaking it down further…
“Intendere”: The verb that “intentio” comes from, meaning “to stretch toward” or “to direct one’s attention or efforts.”
So, at its core, “intention” reflects the idea of stretching or directing oneself toward a goal, outcome, or experience. Make sense? How you package that take on any shape, form, or essence.
If you’re not sure here are a few other ways of approaching or defining intention:
Simply put … Intention gives you a “why” or “purpose” and new starting point to move forward in the unknown.
If you asked someone are they “paying” attention … they might answer, “of course!” … or “sorry my mind was elsewhere.” … what do this really mean? Most times people have pre-associated belief that the “mind” and “attention” are the same. Are they? Again, have you stopped and truly asked yourself … what is attention? Is it mind? If so how? And once how do you define “attention” yourself here?
Context matters moment and person within the experience.

Same as intention … don’t bother looking it up using a dictionary, they have no clue and make it more confusing. Example 1, Example 2
